WBLAE Officers

The four elected officers comprise the Executive Committee and are voting members of the Executive Board and Representative Assembly. The Past President may serve as a non-voting member of the Executive Committee and the Executive Board in an unpaid advisory capacity.

The President and Vice-President are elected for two-year terms in odd-numbered years; the Secretary and Treasurer are elected for two-year terms in even-numbered years. There are no limits on their terms of office.

Tiffany Dittrich

President

Tiffany Dittrich taught language arts at North Campus for 23 years prior to being elected President of White Bear Lake Area Educators. Throughout that time, she served as a building rep, Executive Board member, and secretary of WBLAE as well as in several teacher-leader roles. She describes herself as an infinitely curious learner who’s passionate about issues of education and racial and social justice. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, and napping with her feline friends. Among the many things she values as a union member is how it has amplified her ability to advocate for the needs of her students.

Kirk Gednalske

Treasurer, Sunrise Middle School

Kirk Gednalske has been a special education teacher in the district for 6 years. Before that he was a science teacher in both White Bear and in Wisconsin. He also serves as the treasurer of the union. He previously served as a building rep for two years. Outside of school he spends lots of times outdoors. Running, biking, canoeing and camping are his favorites.

Grace Kilgo has been an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with White Bear Lake Area Schools since 2017, teaching Young 3's Preschool Classes and working on the Birth-2 Early Intervention team. Her passion is supporting our youngest learners and their families. She co-founded the WBL Little Bear Parent Club to provide a community group for parents of ECSE students. She has served as secretary of WBLAE for 2 years. Grace enjoys reading, singing along to the "Hamilton" soundtrack, and spending time with her wife and three cats.
